Having two older cousin is tough and being third you some times get left out. This weekend is an effort to get their attention, Lily ( using appropriate hand signs ) told Kyler and Ambree to listen to their mom. Of course, there were no mom's around but lily must have heard it ( somewhere) and it should have gotten their attention, which it did not.
As many of you know I am now a water aerobic substitute at three pools and counting. I am looking for paint buckets, large paint brushes, ping pong balls and hola hoops to my class. If anyone sees them at the dollar store-- please let me know!
Lily got to sleep over and we skipped stake conference to get our nails done and then dressed in a beautiful dress, added a crown and topped it off with white gloves. Then off to the party at Matt and Marianne's. We had yummy steak and chicken
In our back yard we have two gooseberry bushes that actually have thrived. Ambree and I like to pick them and make gooseberry pie. This year Ambree was cleaning off the stems with her teeth. We love to make pie and jelly for great grandma and pa DeWitt. Here is our favorite song: gooseberry pie, gooseberry pie, if I don't get some I think I'm going to die. Take away the green grass, take away the sky, just don't take my gooseberry pie
Kyler is finally out of school and got to sleep over. We put up the tent in the back yard. The bets were 10 to 30 minutes but we ended up staying out till 2:00 am. When we got into the tent Kyler wanted to tell ghost stories. He held the flash light under his chin and started telling a story with a scary voice. He stopped because he said he was scaring himself. Grandma was a slacker because I did not have a fire or the necessary items to make s'mores.
