Ambree new dress

Ambree slept over. After she got here she cleaned all the windows for me. I gave her a bottle of windex and papertowels. She went around and squirted all the windows. Then she came back and told me she was done. I asked if she had wiped them. She said " oh are you suppose to do that?" But then she went back and wiped them off. We made some frosting and headed to Jamies to do a cake decorating class for her young women. Ambree and Brookie had a fun time playing together but it was Kayen who would leave Ambree's side. He just loved her. Brookie and Ambree both decorated beautiful cakes. Then we got home and watched Animalia and ate treats in bed. In the morning Ambree wanted me to make her a dress so she picked this material and we both worked on it.. Then off to McDonals for breakfast and to play. Then we went bowling and got home right at noon. It sure was a fun sleep over.

Donna pushed me

Since everyone seems to know any way-- here is the story. I was up early to teach swimming and wanted to remove the lawn mover from the trailer . Which I have done a thousands times. Donna was out walking her dog and asked if she could help me. Well the lawn mover got stuck and I unstuck it but went down hard which will explain the bruised on my knees, elbow and hands. Since I have done this several times successfully and the only difference this time was Donna's help. I have to assume she pushed me and made me fall down. That's my story and I am sticking to it. Now as to the other bruised I got on Friday afternoon...... here is just a word of caution for all of those people out there towing stuff around on a trailer. If you have a huge large heavy load on your trailer --DO NOT , I repeat do not unhook the clamp on the ball. It seems when you do that the trailer just flips right off the ball and will catch an arm on it's way up. Oh how it hurt. It was one of those moments when you have to sit down and repeat to yourself. I hurt my self . I hurt myself. I hurt myself. Luckily after some self evaluation I decided I did not need to go to emergency care. I went to McDonald's and got myself a coke. If you had read an early blog you will know that is exactly what doctor Kyler recommends. Just sip your coke grandma and you will be all right. And I was. Just little black and blue and sore. This was one time whne I hurt more than my pride. I think in my old age I having problems with my zig and zagging.

Somethings never change

Every Sunday the kids come for dinner and as part of the ritual I clean the house before they come. I can usually talk myself out of cleaning t he windows on the doors because they just get hand prints on the them anyway. Well ,if you don't clean the windows for company, you never clean them for yourself ,so last week I clean all the windows and doors. It seemed it had been weeks since I had seen an hand print. As Hunter arrived and was walking up to the door -- wham- big hand print right on the window. I had to laugh. Well the next day, I went swim and then headed over r to my grandma's house. Because I swim so much I use lotions and oils on my skin so I am usually slippery. Grandma sits in her front room and watches out her glass door all day. She was sitting there when I arrived. We talked and I went out to work when she noticed there was a huge smear across her glass door. For a minute, we did not know where it came from. Then upon closer examination -- it was my arm print-- matched exactly. I had place my oiled arm right on the window and it had left a tell all print. We were both laugh as it seems you are never too old to leave prints on your grandma's glass doors. So the moral of the story is that grand kids do grow up and they just leave bigger marks for grandma's to clean up.

Grandma and Pa to dinner

Mom and dad are home from Alaska and we had them over to dinner with Great Grandma. Here are all are having a fun time-- where is Makinley? She is either sleeping or eating. It is hard to get a photo of her.

Zucchini Bread

Lily was sleeping over this Tuesday and we had to go take care of Bennion's yard while they are on vacation. She just loved picking that "zucchini bread" and putting it in the wagon. She had the wagon full of water and with the zucchini just floating it, it looked so fun that in moments she stripped down and jump in the wagon with them. Only to discover that the "zucchini bread " was prickly so out they went. After having a fun time swimming in the wagon, we loaded up the "zucchini bread "and headed home. The next day she helped me clean the house for the visiting teachers, then we went and got Andrew and Maddison and went to visit Heather. Then we came back and did more cleaning till she fell asleep on the bean bag chairs. It was fun time.

Kyler helping at Great Grandma's house

Kyler was lucky enough to be there when his Uncle Colby brought down the tree trunk with his bare hands! Here is he with Great Grandma and her dog Lily

The Red Woof

So I was tending Kyler Monday and we were headed to Grandma Red's to do the yard work. We have to go by Rob's work and I wanted to point it out to Kyler. I said, there is grandpa's work, he said where and I said the one with the RED ROOF. But I guess I did not say that because Kyler said I said the RED WOOF. He was laughing and teasing me about it. Then on the way home he set me up. We were driving by Rob's work again and Kyler said where is grandpa's work and I respond, the one with the RED ROOF. Now he was laughing so hard because he said I said RED WOOF again. I guess I am going to have to work on this one
